President Trump said he’s considering taking away American-born comedian Rosie O’Donnell’s citizenship since she moved to Ireland because he won the election.

“Because of the fact that Rosie O’Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship,” Mr. Trump wrote on social media Saturday.

“She is a Threat to Humanity, and should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her,” he said.

Ms. O’Donnell, who has publicly feuded with Mr. Trump for years, responded on Instagram, “The president of the USA has always hated the fact that I see him for who he is — a criminal con man sexual abusing liar out to harm our nation to serve himself — and this is why I moved to Ireland.”

She added, “He is a dangerous, old, soulless man with dementia who lacks empathy, compassion, and basic humanity — I stand in direct opposition all he represents — so do millions of others — you gonna deport all who stand against your evil tendencies — you’re a bad joke who can’t form a coherent sentence #nevertrump.”

In a social media video posted in March, she said she moved to Ireland in January. She called the people “loving, and so kind, so welcoming.”

She said she was in the process of getting her Irish citizenship due to her Irish grandparents.

“I was never someone who thought I would move to another country, that’s what I decided would be the best for myself and my 12-year-old child,” she said.

Clay, 12, is autistic and identifies as neither boy nor girl.

“When it is safe for all citizens to have equal rights there in America, that’s when we will consider coming back,” Ms. O’Donnell said in the video. “It’s been heartbreaking to see what’s happening politically and hard for me personally as well. The personal is political, as we all know.”

In another video later in March, she said it was the correct decision to leave America.

She said of Clay, “They make me happy every day, and they’re doing so well here. I’m so, so proud and so impressed with their resilience. It’s not easy to move to another country, and we really felt as a family this was the safest and best thing for us to do.”

She added, “It looks like sadly we were correct, for what’s happening in the United States is overwhelmingly depressing, unconstitutional, illegal, criminal and so so very sad.”
