The House Oversight Committee subpoenaed Bill and Hillary Clinton to appear for depositions in the investigation of deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who supplied sex trafficked women and girls to wealthy and politically connected men.

The committee also subpoenaed the Justice Department’s files from the Epstein sex trafficking investigation.

The committee voted to subpoena the individuals and the DOJ in a hearing last month, but did not announce the issuing of the subpoenas until Tuesday.

The investigation into Epstein is ramping up, with lawmakers seeking information on the high-profile men, including President Trump and former President Bill Clinton, who were in Epstein’s orbit.
